Legal Framework & Transit Protocols
Clear agreements ensure seamless logistics. We believe in transparency for every mile traveled.
Terms of Logistics Service
Effective Date: January 2024
Welcome to the operational framework of BRANIFF FORWARDING INC.. These terms govern our professional relationship regarding freight forwarding, storage, and cross-border transit. Why do we prioritize these details? Because in the world of high-velocity logistics, clarity is the best insurance.
1. Scope of Forwarding Services
We operate as a freight forwarder and logistics coordinator. This means you're trusting us to manage the complex flow of goods through our Laredo hubs and beyond. Our responsibility begins precisely when the cargo is received at our gated facility and ends once a signed Bill of Lading is executed at the final destination.
2. Transit Times & Liability
Transit estimates are just that—estimates. While we boast a 98% on-time delivery rate, we don't guarantee specific arrival times due to variable factors like customs delays or weather. Liability for cargo is limited to the industry standard unless a higher value is declared and insured prior to movement. We're not responsible for indirect losses. Ever.
3. Warehousing and Storage
Goods stored at our PO BOX 452370 vicinity or partner warehouses are subject to the Warehouseman’s Lien. We maintain strict climate and security controls, but customers are encouraged to maintain their own primary insurance. Do you have specialized cargo requirements? Please notify us 48 hours before arrival at our facility.
4. Payment Terms
All invoices for forwarding and delivery are due Net 15 from the date of carriage, unless otherwise stated in your specific contract. Late payments may result in the suspension of active transit lines. We value the fuel and hours our drivers commit; prompt payment keeps the fleet moving for everyone.
